Q: How do I fix audio delay or echo when using two Bluetooth headphones?

Different Bluetooth headphones have different internal buffer latencies (e.g. 50ms vs 150ms), causing an annoying echo. PairPlay includes a built-in Latency Offset slider that lets you delay the faster device by exact milliseconds, synchronizing both audio streams with perfect lip-sync.

Q: Can I connect two pairs of AirPods to a Windows PC or laptop?

Yes. Apple's Audio Sharing feature is restricted to Apple devices. PairPlay brings dual AirPods audio sharing to Windows 10 and 11, allowing two pairs of AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or standard AirPods to play system audio simultaneously.

Q: Can I use one Bluetooth headphone and one wired headphone at the same time?

Yes. PairPlay routes audio across any combination of audio endpoints recognized by Windows, including Bluetooth headphones, 3.5mm wired jacks, USB headsets, and HDMI soundbars.

Q: Does this work with any brand of Bluetooth headphones?

Yes. PairPlay routes at the Windows system audio level, so any headset your PC can pair with — AirPods, Sony, Bose, Beats, Sennheiser, JBL, and gaming headsets — works seamlessly.

Question 1

How do I connect multiple headphones to one laptop or PC?

Accepted Answer

Pair both Bluetooth headphones in Windows Settings (Bluetooth & devices), open PairPlay, and toggle the ON switch next to both headsets. System audio will immediately stream to both headphones simultaneously with independent volume controls.

Question 2

How to use two headphones on PC without a physical hardware splitter?

Accepted Answer

Physical 3.5mm splitters only work for wired cords and force both listeners to share a single volume. PairPlay is a software-based audio router that sends Windows audio to multiple wireless Bluetooth headphones simultaneously with personal volume sliders for each listener.

Question 3

Is PairPlay better and easier than Voicemeeter for dual headphones?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Voicemeeter is a virtual mixing console that requires installing virtual cables, configuring A1/A2 hardware outputs, rebooting Windows, and tweaking driver buffers. PairPlay is purpose-built for dual headphones: it works in 10 seconds without driver changes, uses <0.1% CPU, and includes a millisecond Latency Offset slider to fix Bluetooth audio delay.
